Position Summary:
The Executive Secretary is responsible to the President and Chief Executive Offer of West River Health Services and its subsidiaries and is responsible for greeting clients and visitors to the executive department.

- Exemplifies high standards of professional attitude and is dependable in responsibility. Maintains absolute confidentiality regarding administrative and organizational business at all times outside the executive department. Serves as a role model to the organization and upholds the core values of West River Health Services Foundation. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Uses judgement in assessing the urgency and relevance of differing priorities. Provides recommendations on topics important to WRHS.
- Manages the CEO’s schedule to include coordinating arrangements, manage preparation of materials for meetings, equipment, travel and expenses as necessary. Manages daily schedules aligning with current priorities and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a system that alerts CEO of upcoming deadlines, incoming requests and events.
- Remain knowledgeable about strategic goals and issues of importance to the CEO’s office in order to make informed decisions in all aspects of the job.
- Demonstrates proficiency in typing and word processing. Demonstrates knowledge of the operations of computers, spread sheet programs, and internal programs.
- Maintains a filing system for correspondence and other documents in a manner which is conducive to easy retrieval.
- Education: The Executive Secretary will be a high school graduate, or equivalency, and have taken course work in general office practice. An associate degree in office practice is preferred.
- Experience: The Executive Secretary will have two to four years experience in a general office setting. Three to five years of experience in an executive office setting is preferred.
