DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Giving and taking report.
  • Administer all oral medications and document all routinely prescribed medications in tenant’s chart.
  • Take and record Vital Signs.
  • Assist tenants with:
    • Bathing
    • Cooking
    • Cleaning tenant’s apartments
    • Making beds
    • Laundry
    • Activities
    • Medications, if needed
  • Must be able to communicate well with tenants, family members, physicians, and other staff 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:  Successfully completed a state-approved school of medication administration CMA and pass skills and written test for Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA)
Continuing Education:  As required by state law and regulations
Other:  Willing to cooperate with other staff; be aware of limitations and not attempt to exceed these limitations; work with the tenants.
